Distorded Sound: So to answer the original question: Yes. Born of Osiris  have shown some real progression here with “The Simulation” and it is a solid effort and it will sit well in their back catalogue. However, “The Simulation” is not an album that has the immediate impact that will be ripping up trees and changing people’s lives.

My Opinion:

“My opinion about this release is definatly good but not amazing. If I compare this with “Tomorrow We Die Alive” then is their third release better.  

There are some quite good tracks for example “Disconnectome”. This track contains heavy riffs and chugging rhythms. The beginning of this track is already headbanging worthy.
